The Opened World
Empress of the Northern Empire
No single Alathan commands more respect in the mention of a name than Her Majesty, the Empress Jakabosa. Taking control of the throne following the assassination of her mother, she swiftly cemented her role as one worthy of the throne of Narathet by her firm treatment of the uprising that brought about the assassination. Though her coronation was at the unprecedentedly young age of 16, she has proved deft at maneuvering the intricacies of leadership. Self-assured, charming, and ambitious, Jakabosa is respected, and feared, by those both within her Empire and without. She demands the highest of standards and those who disappoint her quickly find themselves out of power or worse. Her emotions are quick to change but powerful and dramatically displayed. Bringing together the families of many of the higher religious, civil, and military officials in Narathet, she has created a system of courtiers which allows her to keep tabs on all that happens in the orders below here. Here the finest of fashions in Alatha are seen and change quickly. Jakabosa is unapologetic about her desire for expansion of the Empire.
