The Opened World
Hewn in heavy dark stone, the semi-gothic walls of Ir Sadina have long reflected the attitudes of its inhabitants. Dark, morose, and brooding, the peoples of Ir Sadina are accustomed to conflict, from ancient brutal warlords and Jaadin violence, to Terathi raids, to the island’s current state: split in half between Northern Empire and Council lands. Though Ir Sadina itself falls into Council territory, there are more spies here than probably any other city. In addition, the Jaadin still hold a large amount of sway, greasing the wheels of what makes the city truly run. One does not live long in Ir Sadina before glances over the shoulder become second nature and no one keeps their hands clean for long.
